Delicious, fresh, packed full-of-flavour Thai in an excellent location. Beautiful views of Elizabeth Quay, friendly service, and a good drinks menu. An excellent spot to catch up with friends and relax.
Centrally located on Elizabeth Quay Six Senses Thai 🇹🇠restaurant is location couldn’t be any better. After visiting its Leederville restaurant in the past with fond memories it was time to visit this place.
The ambience is very nice and although it was very busy they did a good job with the service. We were put in their nest table/ booth which is like a little round hut 🛖 The food was very yummy and majority of their dishes was good. Their curry’s are excellent and we had their Masaman, duck curry, Penang curry, it was all good. Portion size and presentation was good and for the price was good value for a upmarket Thai Restaurant. We didn’t order any entree except for the Tom yum soup. But we did order a heck lot of main dishes to share. The drinks were good and the Thai coffee was refreshing. Had to have the dessert which was sticky rice with mango 🥠All in all a very tasty and memorable night!!
Nice cafe down on the Quay, very breezy, light and relaxed. Excellent shaded area for getting out of the sun and having a restful moment, while still enjoying the vibrant space. In terms of menu, there could be a bit more attention to local and homemade, including pastries and juices, which look to be bought in.
The vibe of this place is so nice! The waiters were all very friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered a main each and then three entrees with a drink (cost around $40 each split between 3). Defiantly saving this place for special occasions as it’s not cheap but I would 100% return. (Not overly expensive either)
We thoroughly enjoyed this Thai restaurant. We're from Melbourne, and our expectations are high when it comes to food. The service was attentive, polite & perfect. The orders were perfectly timed & the main meals served within good time after the entrée. The staff were attentive, the food delicious and the atmosphere perfect. Definitely would go again.
It was superb! Service was great. Good ambiance. We ordered scallops entree which is heaven! Loved it. Of course pad thai, rice and ribs. Although it's a bit on the pricier side but it was worth it.
Upmarket Thai restaurant and located in the vicinity of Elizabeth Quay. Nice food and nice atmosphere. Peanut sauce for the satays was delicious. Service was fine. A bit pricey. Nonetheless, I will return to explore the menu.
I've visited this place a few times with friends. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere in a great CBD location. I'm giving it a 3-star review for two reasons:
Firstly, the food was just average. The tom yum soup lacked the usual tanginess. The massaman beef had an overwhelming amount of coconut milk, and the cinnamon flavor overpowered the beef, which should be the star of the dish. I also ordered a Thai iced tea, but it was excessively sweet. I've been to Thailand multiple times and am a fan of Thai cuisine, so I have to be honest in saying that the food here only deserves a 3/5 rating.
Secondly, the service left something to be desired. The staff wasn't very welcoming, and it was disappointing to receive a message after we left saying that we forgot to pay our bill. Even though we did and we have provided a proof of payment.
